Rebecca is in her senior year working towards her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a concentration in Neuroengineering and an interest minor in Neuroscience. She has undergone three co-op cycles in research both at the clinical and corporate levels. Her primary research interests involve understanding the progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease using computational methods. Currently, she is working on a neuroimaging senior design project which involves better PET-MRI co-registration with a primary focus in the reduction of technical expertise and processing time. Within the Chrysikou Lab, her focus is on a wide range of image analysis techniques and modalities that are involved in various ongoing lab projects. Outside of lab and school, she enjoys cooking for all her friends and family, hiking trails, and traveling.
