Veronica is a junior, Honors student at Drexel University where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Her biology concentration is in cellular, molecular, genetics, & biochemistry with a minor in neuroscience. Veronica is also an active volunteer at Penn Medicine and is pursuing a career as a physician. She has been working in the Chrysikou lab on a cognitive-behavioral memory project and hopes to contribute to more projects in the future. With a strong interest in neurodegenerative diseases, she hopes to one day aid in research in that area. Along with academics, Veronica enjoys running and being involved and hopes to attend the MedLife service trip to Ecuador in the Spring.
