Amber is an undergraduate Psychology major at Drexel University. She is on the pre-med track and hopes to achieve her Masters in Biomedical Sciences before matriculating to medical school. She is working on her senior Honors thesis in the Chrysikou Lab; her research in the lab involves relationships between resting state brain activity in depression and biobehavioral measures. She has worked at Fox Chase Cancer Center researching the effects of various endocrine disrupting chemicals on breast cancer proliferation. Amber is a private tutor and a statistics teaching assistant at Drexel. She is also a member of Drexel’s Muslim Student Association, serving as a member of the social events subcommittee and has graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training course.
